Administration Denounces 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Epstein Estate Photos Made Public

House Democrats have made public a new tranche of what they described as "disturbing" photographs from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 images—a portion of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 unveiled later on Friday represent a small number of the almost 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Among the prominent personalities seen in the opening set are well-known figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Reaction

The White House addressed the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of purposefully "hand-picking" the pictures for political purposes and to "try and create a false account."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson remarked, maintaining that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have by consistently demanding openness, releasing numerous documents of records, and demanding more inquiries into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Democratic Lawmaker Statement

The photographs were disclosed lacking captions, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"The moment has come to stop this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a release.

The release of these images occurs alongside the oversight committee proceeding with its probe into the Epstein matter.
